I’m Martin Benson, I live in the UK, and I enjoy beer.

I first came across the concept of a Beer Advent Calendar (one beer a day from December 1st to December 24th) when Morrisons were doing one about five years ago. It was just in a cardboard box – nothing very exciting, but it was fun.

Then I started to think – well, wouldn’t it be nice to have a reusable one, that you could refill each year?

I looked round the interwebs, and I found nothing that I really liked.

This one by Rockwell Tools is quite nice, but wasn’t quite what I was looking for.

Others around the place just didn’t seem that sturdy, or didn’t have the basic requirement of a beer advent calendar – doors!

So, I decided to design and build my own.

My friends and family like it a lot, and so I’m encouraged to share it.

So – here it is, and here’s how to build it.

DIY level is quite basic – the most important thing is patience and care.
